How many people agree with me that FF8 is the best game ever why why not which one is?

No, that would be Street Fighter II Turbo for me at least, I like fighting games and it is simple and complex at the same time…If it’s a FF game, I would have to go with FFVI…same deal…simple clean graphics and a storyline & villain that both rock(to me)…and I liked Espers and the unique techniques that wach character had. Same thing with Street Fighter II Turbo, it’s fighting system is very gripping and simple at the same time…every character is unique(aside from Ken and Ryu) and it’s very addicting!!

But why?? It has to be your favorite game for some logical reason other than it’s great(note I’m not bashing FFVIII, I actually like the game too).

ff8 was my favorite ff tied with 7 that is mainly becuase it was the ff that got me hooked.

I prefer FF7 because I like the storyline, the character’s personalities, also it was the very first rpg game I’ve played, and this influenced a lot, because of the soundtrack and I think it’s better than the other FFs (actually 8 and 9, the ones I’ve already played that are on your poll) because the FF7 characters and storyline are better. Also I don’t like FF8, I like 9 just cause I think it’s cute….:p, and I think I’ve already posted this on another thread like that, I think it was "What’s the best/worse FF" or something like taht. That’s my opinion and my explanation.

Moving to General Gaming, where honestly, I hope it’s locked.

I say FFVIII is the best out these 4 because I enjoyed the freedom and complexity of the junction system and how you can use it and abuse it, I also liked the scifi story and liked how you could hear Squall’s thoughts…I also liked the dream sequence…it was ruined when you meet Laguna, but oh well.

FFIX is the one I liked the best, I think, and Kingdom Hearts is also a decently good game.
