FFX-2 Blitzball help

Can any one help with blitzball questions?

I want to know how to trade players.

u cant trade exactly just buy and sell if ur on 10-2 there should be a scout option

i don’t get blitz in ffx2, you cna’t even control the players. i just played it when i had to. i think it really has no purpose, if u can’t even control the characters. al u see are triangles moving around……*cries*

its suposed to be kinda like a manager game

If you really want to know, i don’t like the blitzball either. I asked this question for my brother. He’s only 12 years old and he understands it. He’s way better than me at blitzball and he’s the one who wanted to know. I’ll make sure i tell him all the answers i get.

I hate FFX-2’s Blitzball and don’t ever play it. It doesn’t help that there’s nothing you can get from it you can’t get elsewhere. Or then again, maybe that’s a good thing.

Yeah, BB in FFX-2 pretty much sucks, but once you get the hang of it, it’s not all that hard, as long as you keep pumpin up your characters.

To trade players, you need to win the fairly rare Trade Priveleges prize from a Tournament and/or League. Once you win it, you get the chance to exchange any one of your players on your team for any one from another team (if you want the Aurochs or Abes, you have to unlock them and beat them in a exhibition game first). You can easily hire a sucky person (like say Sulla) before the game to make the exchange. Once you trade with a team, that person will remain on your team as long as you keep paying him/her the CP every 10 games. Any Intensive Trainings will send that player back to his team, requiring another TP to get him/her back.

You can only make one exchange per TP. So if you want to trade for 3 people, you’ll have to win a TP 3 times.

Woo-hoo! I played a lot of blitzball in FFX, but I don’t get it at all in X-2! I don’t really like it either…lol sry I’m not help…just stating my opinion…but if anyone gets it in X-2 and feels like explaining it…than plz by all means tell! lol thanx a bunch

To be brutally honest and fair enough i shouldn’t be in my first post… but I feel that blitball isn’t that bad in ffx-2, fair enough you dont actually take part and okay you dont really do anything… BUT it takes just as much skill in the new BB to what it does in FFX BB so what if you dont take part in any games but you have to put together a winning team together from to be frank a pile of s***e eg yuna rikku etc etc and to get somewhere in BB takes a lot of time and patience with the game as you have to play the KB for a long time until you can really begin to make an impact on the other teams

The Besaid Waterfall Workout is a special intensive training type prize that teaches players the Overhead Volley special shot (I think it’s marked with a blue star). Players actually are available imediatley after you send them for training. For instance, if you send Yuna for any form of IT, she will be available right after you sent her. But you will have to go to Scout Level one and constantly bring up new data for a while until she comes. If you use an IT on a traded player (like Larbeight), he will return imediately to his default team, dropping the replacement back into his respected scout level.

Heres some advice, when you win a trade previlage, just trade a shit guy to the AlBhed, preferebly one of the forwards. Then butcher his stats 😛 like maxing REC to lower his shot to zero or something like that. Then get another trade privelage and trade for someone else on some other team or just release him. The AlBhed turned to crap once i did this.

That’s a good idea, but it may be a bit wasteful of TP’s, especially if you want players from other teams (and use IT’s on them). It probably would be a good idea to replace Blappa, Eigaar, or Berrik with say Sulla, and use that player for the early bits. Once you hire and train the better players up, the Al Bhed aren’t really all that tough anymore.
