Disk 1 9possible spoilers if you haven’t completed it)

I’ve got a bit of a problem on my disk at the moment and I’m waiting for a new one to arrive in the next couple of days, so I thought I’d buff up my characters a little.

Just wondering if anyone has any better places to train on disk 1 apart from the following:
Wutai Island
Shinra Mansion
Any of the islands near Mideel that you can reach on the tiny bronco.

I’ve got the omnislash with cloud, gonna get all of the other materia from the battle square aswell.

Also, is it possible to get pheonix on disk 1?
I don’t think it is, I’ve gona back to the fort a couple of times but it always says no shinra around, so I guess not 🙂

Anyway, any tips would be appreciated 🙂

i think you can only get the pheonix materia during the time that you have to get the huge materia in disk 2, could be wrong abou though, havent tried to get it before then before.

There aren’t really any good places to train on disk 1 except wutai area.

And you can only get Pheonix materia on disk 2.

Ahh cool, I thought it was only after the materia aswell 🙂

Looks like I’ll have to stick to wutai then 🙂

Btw what lvl did most people get omnislash at? This is the first time I’ve got it before going to temple of the ancients I think
