100% completion

I just want to know, is it true to get 100% completion that you have to give the one sphere in the begining to the youth league and not new yevon?

To get 100% completion, you must do EVERYTHING in the game. Getting 100% will also get the good ending where *SPOILER* Yuna meets Tidus again.

i already knew that but i heard if you give the sphere to new yevon in the begining then you only will get 99% completion even if you do everything else. i just want to know if this is true.

It is true, however, it is only true if you are planning to get 100% completion in one game, something I strongly, strongly advise against even trying because it’s nearly impossible to do without screwing up. Play through at least one time and give it to whichever group you want. Play a New Game Plus, give the sphere to the opposite group and view all scenes related to that group. Make sure to complete all scenes related to the Good / Perfect Ending in the second playthrough and clear out everything that you missed the first playthrough that would contribute towards 100%.

Oh, and the idea that you must do everything to get 100% completion isn’t technically true. If you are only playing to get 100% completion, there are many things actually that you will miss.

Do i have to complete Via Purifico (or whatever it’s called) to get episode complete in bevelle? Coz’ i’ve already got episode complete in bevelle without defeated Trema…so can i get Mascot without killing trema? that’s my question…

No, that’s the good ending.

what is the difference if you give the sphere to new yevon?

If you give the sphere to New Yevon, you will have different missions since you’re going againt the Youth League.

You can try 100% in one game if you want. It’s entirely possible, but virtually impossible without a guide unless you’ve completely memorized everything. Even with a guide you might screw up, but it’s possible (I’ve managed it also).

i gave up when i’ve played it 6 times and keep staying at 99%

moneybags —- do you keep giving the Sphere to the same group. The top reason that happens is that you keep giving the sphere to the same group. Stop doing that. Give it to the other group and you should get your 100% as soon as the sequence completes. Then, just make sure you complete the same requirements that would activate the Good Ending and you’ll get the Perfect one.

Well, you could, but you’ll need to start a new ending. It’s really largely a meaningless distinction anyway. The Perfect Ending is just everything in the Good Ending plus a small bonus sequence. If you really wanted to see just the Good Ending sequences, you could also play them from the Sphere Theater.

i dont think u need to to but u must make sure that zanarkand isnt the last episode complete u get. for some reason they wont give u mascot

if u get 100% than u get the good ending followed by the perfect ending with Tidus and yuna. i dont want to spoil it though by telling u anymore. the good ending is the besaid beach and there is one thats not really any better

dont forget that if the culprit on the mihen road isnt rikku,chocobo eater (i think), or rin than u wont get 100%.

make sure u sleep in the cabin every chapter and u must watch MOST of the spheres in chapter 4. u know those things shinra developed. shit i forgot what they were called. there are some scenes u dont need to watch but u should just watch them all. they have like .2% points u probably missed

The two things that you must always do if you want the good ending at the end of the game are:

1. Meet Maechan in Guadosalam chapter 3, plus let him talk.
2. Whistle at the end of chapter 3.

If you don’t do those two things, you won’t even get the good ending even if you have 100%.

I’d just like to say again that if you already have 99% completion, then watching any scenes related to a group that you didn’t give the sphere to before will probably push you over-the-top, unless you skipped something else major somewhere.
