I’ve beaten that Jyscal Guado guy who turned into a Black Element.When I go deeper,after a few floors I have to fight a Mega Tonberry!!I’m 90 level but it takes 22.500 in one hit!!What can I do???I have to fight or else I cannot proceed to the next floor…Help me…Please?Pretty please?

No, you don’t have to fight it. Look for lever, spring, or pad somewhere that will reset the floor. Or reset the game and try for a different floor.

Or put all characters in Mascot to beat the Tonberry.

Try to get away from Tonberry. There are always ways to get around it. You don’t need to fight it, and there’s no need to reset the game, either. Of course, you can do if you want. And you’ll probably get a different floor too. 😉

But Tonberry will always come back. And after the 90th floor you’ll only have enemies like Tonberry, the red dragon etc. :rolleyes:

What you can do to defeat a Tonberry. Have a Gunner equipped with the item CatNip. You should have got it by defeating one of the bosses in the Via Infintito. Then have the gunner at yellow health. Then use Trigger Happy. From what I remember Cat NIp makes every attack do 9999 or its a critical hit when near death. Not to sure on which one. But thats how I bet the Tonberrys that were around the show

None of the Mega Tonberry fights are mandatory. As Agent mentioned, there is always some way to get over/around the Mega Tonberrys. Half the difficulty of the Cloisters is to figure out how to avoid unneccesary difficult battles.

If you need to know how to get past it, tell us what type of room it is (describe it, no #’s!) and we’ll help you out.

And if you have to fight them, Mascots would be the way to go. And/or Gunner(s) with Cap Nip(s).
