Quinas frogs

I just started a new game, and also just started Quinas frog sidequest again. I’d like to know if anything will be different if you catch the male, the female or the little frog babies. I usually get all of them, and it goes pretty quick that way.

But I was always asking myself, if there is a difference in your weapon strenght maybe if you only catch the male ones? Or only the females? And what about the little froggies? Or what about the frog king. I caught him before, but I couldn’t see a difference. :confused:

Does somebody know more about it?

The gender of the frogs you catch doesn’t matter. It’s the gender of the frogs you leave behind that’s important. When you leave a male and a female behind, they’ll repopulate the pond more quickly. The gold frogs make them breed even faster.

And how about the baby frogs? :confused:

it doesnt matter how old or big the frogs are that u catch. but if u leave like … an adult male and adult female, the will mate faster and u will be able to go back and catch other frogs…..

Yeah, but I think it is too much work to sort out a male and a female one. Usually I catch all of the frogs, and when ever I come back, there will be a lot new frogs again. So, I don’t care much for that.

But I was just wondering if the froggie size or gender has something to do with the weapon strenght, because in the beginning of the game Quina is quite strong. And the more I get to the end, the weaker the attacks get….compared to the other characters….. 🙁

ive noticed that as well.. but i havent actually done any resurch into it….. but my quina always has a diffrent attack stength every time attack. its never very consistant. so im not sure…

Hmmm, thats a good point but quina’s frog drop technique increases its attack power for the amount of frogs you collect so i would say that its a fair deal

that is true…. its like… 100 times every one or something like that… the only real moves that i liked of it was magic hammer, angles snack, the one that gives shell and protect….. and thats bout it….

The one you were looking for was Mighty Guard. I used Mustard Bomb, Vanish, Angel’s Snack, Lv.2 Holy and Lv.5 Death!

Catching Frogs will only increase the damage frog drop does not your other weapons
If i rember right the formula is: Frog drop damage = Quina’s Level x Number of Frogs

It is….. My Quina somehow (dont ask me how) got to lvl 99 and i caught all of the frogs….. this caused me to do 9999 with every attack with frog drop……

I caught about 140 frogs yet. It is weird, usually I ended with 99 because after the battle with Quan I thought this is the limit. It won’t take much longer and Quina’s frog drop is going to do a 9999 HP damage. I don’t think he needs to be on level 99 for that. 😉

no he doesn’t need to be on Level 99, but If you can get him to L99, then you don’t need as many frogs to get 9999 damage from frog drop 😉

how do you use frog drop. I cant say ive heard of it.
