Huff huff huff. I have recentaly purcashed ff7 for the PC; after being addicted to it when i was a lil’ (about 12; 19 now… how sad of me >shakes head<) kid all thoes years ago on the psx. i’v checked out a few sites for like help with graphics and stuff but im pretty content with them, and everyone should stop complaining (its that ol’ xp problem again).

However

I’m having a stupid problem that im sure its not and i jus’ wonna make the game a lil better. If i recall the sound on the psx was pretty good, and as its running in weird midi files on the pc its really really load, even if i do turn like the music down to 1, and the sw synth low and stuff. So help, all i want is an even ballance between the proper wave sounds such as ‘swoosh, and blip’, and the irratic music such as constant ‘beeps and boops’. Yeh so that my lil problem.

In short…. Is their anyway of making it so that the sound effects on the pc is not over run by the music? 🙁

o silly me eh?

(i love having my ff7 bak tho, bought it off e-bay, fully boxed not one scracth, all manuals and extra junk shit; and even a manga sticker on the front asking me to enter a compotion that ends on the 30th of november 1998)

See ya soon! ^.^

PC version here too ^_^.

Is there a Hardware Configuration Wizard? My *ahem* Torrented package does.

If you have it, go to whatever it is to get to the sound settings. You should be able to pick what kind of midi. I got one of them to work so that I can get the music volume down from the menu in game (I have it like on "003").

Sorry for the vagueness but I’m on holiday, 700 miles from my PC and FF7.
