Wasn’t sure where to put this thread, so I just put it here.

Anyway, let’s get to the point.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, whatever possessed squareEnix to put it onto Gamecube?
Let’s face it, the only type of games nintendo make is mario orientated games, the only "adult" game on Gamecube is metal gear solid twin snakes.
You have to spend another 100+ on another console just for FF:CC.

Who else thought that putting a Final Fantasy onto gamecube was a bad idea?

Squeenix wanted to make a game on Gamebay Advanced (FF Tactics: Advanced), and Nintendo was like "okay but you have to make a game on gamecube" and thus Crystal Chronicles was born.

also, the only reason Square went to Sony was that Nintendo refused to switch to discs at the time, which have more memory space than the cartridges Nintendo used, and Square wanted bigger games. They’ve always liked Nintendo more, though, from my understanding.

Your in trouble my little Nintendo-hating friend, because many of the planned upcoming FF games are set to be on the DS, rather than the PS2 or PSP.

Yeah, like FFXII.

From what I heard, CC was pretty crappy 1 player anyway, so who really cares.
