No FF10 and FF12 have nothing to do with one another and if you want to make sure go to the official site. But I do believe that the world the story takes place in is the same as the Final Fantasy Tactics world. Or some other Tactics.

its a totally different world ivalice with chracters vaan and ashe totally different if any thing it has something to do with tactics or tactics advanced.

Given your question, I am assuming Final Fantasy X was your first Final Fantasy. Every Final Fantasy has a different set of characters (with a number of reoccuring names), new story and new battle system. If X was infact your first, I urge you to play the older games. While X was good, some earlier ones are masterful.

To whoever started this thread, you must of saw one of the trailers that said :2 years after Final Fantasy X" or something similar than that. FFXII has nothing to do FFX, and it’s about two empires fighting each other and a smaller kingdom getting occupied by one of them. It’s very different from FFX. Also do like someone else said and play some of the older FFs, there alot better than X.

does any1 no if there will be a second sequel to ffx and they were rite ff12 is set in the tatics world ffx and all the other ff’s have different characters and plots except cid biggs and wedge.and does ant1 think ff9 is the prequel to ffcc?

none of the final fantasy’s are connected exept for FFX and FFX-2. thats it

only games that will have sequels till now is FFX and soon we will also have FFVII-2 ^_^
