I suppose it was ok, it was easily completed and not much of a challenge, but the general ideas were good. Thats why I voted for good.

The game itself was… FUCKING TERRIBLE. That’s all I have to say.

Ohhh, how lovely. Thank you wanderer_nick for justifying my current hatred for any film licence game. Enter the Matrix was a poor man’s fighting game, an even poorer man’s shooting game, and the most horribly scripted and tested game I have played for around seven years. You could fall through things, die for no reason, and the plot was awful. Awful, awful awful. Even worse than the last two films. And the lesbian kiss? That’s the sign of directors trying to find some way to hook teenagers (That’s you!) to keep playing.

Good, solid gameplay? Play streets of rage, it’s more complex fighting wise. Ohh, you can go into slowmo. If that wows you, go and play Max Payne 2. Guns? Lots of guns? The game I just mentioned. No game has done bullet time well, and no game can do it well, as it’s a really fucking stupid concept.

God.

If dog shit had it’s very own video game, it’d be a lot like Enter the Matrix.

Do what you know you have to do, get World of Warcraft instead.

No it’s really well, they just have the best bullet time ‘so far’ it still is pretty crap. And MMM summed up the most imporatant major problems. I got so frustrated by randomly dying I couldn’t even bare to look at the game. The controls were sad and the game itself was hardly playable. The only reaon why you like it was because it’s a Matrix game? That’s -exactly- why the game didn’t even sell that bad, because it has the Matrix license. That’s fucking all.

Bullet time is not a legitamate gaming mechanic, but a fancy gimmick used to sell games.

You obviously haven’t played The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. That is about it when it comes to great film licenced games.

I remember playing the pc version of Enter the Matrix at my Boyfriend’s house a while back. He loved it, but I thought it was absolutely terrible! The controls, the graphics, the game play, the story: EVERYTHING in that game was just messed up.

A few weeks before I’d only just seen the first film, & was actually considered getting it. Aren’t I glad I had a lucky reverse in fortune!
