What lvl?

What lvl do you recommend me to take Sephiroth on with?

I died at lvl 54, and I don’t think you can get to lvl 100.

Can someone help me though?

If I do the Chocobo Quest, I end up being around lvl 67 when I take him.

When I did the Weapons, I was around 77-80-ish.

As long as you have w-summon, Knights of the Round, Mime, and Magic Plus,

You should be able to win this fight at any level.

I was lv 99 with all characters and used KotR,W-summon, Mime, Final Attack+Phoenix(all mastered) to defeat him. I recommend that you be about lv 70 to defeat Sephiroth, and you should have the above mantioned materia. You’ll defeat him easily. You can be a much lower level if you have al these materias above.

lv39 use hero drink on any character than have his limit break ready before he enters the battle cloud will keep performing omnislash until enemy is down u have to have master counter and mime I did it a couple but I like kotr better I think

I’m usually on Level 99 (the highest, you can’t do lv. 100!) when I beat him, but I think around 70 should be enough. 🙂

Lv 60, use best magic (Comet2, Contain or any decent magic) best summons, I didn’t have KotR… Best weapons, and above all else… A winning attitude!

40, it makes him harder, which is more fun. Unless its your first time through, then 60-70.

At the end dont you get omnislash to use at the ver end after Cloud and Sephiroth have a stare off?

Yes, that’s right, when Cloud and Sephiroth battle one on one, Cloud can use his Omnislash, even if he hasn’t learned it during the game. In the battle, Cloud’s Limit bar gradually fills up and when it’s full, you can use Omnislash
against Sephiroth. If you don’t like wasting time acquiring Cloud’s Omnislash, you will see it anyway when you defeat Sephiroth. ^_^

not definatly, since i had a master counter on cloud, i just sat there for a minute and he attacked me then cloud countered with a regular attack and that was it. He didn’t do omnislash

I did that a few times but it looks great to watch cloud perform the omnislash on sephiroth.

Of course he didn’t perform Omnislash, you have to do it yourself – just move the pointer to "Limit" and press circle. And Cloud will use Omnislash ^_^

Just kidding – one hit is enough to kill Sephiroth since this is a battle that you cannot lose. Since your Cloud had Counter, he countered and killed him without using Omnislash and that was it, as you say. But if you hadn’t equipped Counter, you would have seen Omnislash.

60… its possible at < Lv20 anyway.

I think as long as your team is set up properly then anything between level 60 to 97 is the best time. I have heard ( but cannot confirm) that if Cloud is at level 98/99 then Sephiroth has 3 times his normal hp.

has any1 else heard this?
