Problem

i AM AT the part where you have to wait for diamond weapon in midgar. I am hearing the battle music and i have waited for HOURS and it has not come! Can anyone help?

You wait at the shore and it will walk (very slowly) up to the beach. Just wait about five minutes, but be on your guard, don’t leave the room you are playing in.

well i stood on the beach and left the game on for over an hour. I did not come.I am hearing that ‘battle arena music’ though. Another thing. Im playing it on a ps2, one of my friends said that was the problem. Would it make a difference if i play on ps1?

Can you see Diamond Weapon when you get on the Airship. If not, find him and stand across from him. That may be your problem.

Then I don’t no what to tell you….maybe you have a glitch in your file. Unless, try flying all around Midgar’s surrounding waters slowly. Maybe…just maybe he might reappear. Try it.

so you think its a glitch in my save file? Thats what i was thinking…the cd is flawlesss…ps2 is flawless.Well thanks, guess i have to start over.

Try flying around bone village area ( i think that where he comes from) you should see him rising out of the water, then start marching towards Midgar

That might be one of the many glitches, like when i did the SCC with Tifa i got to hojo and he wouldnt appear, so i had to start over…

Actually, some of the problems I had dissapeared with the PS2. So, there is really no problem. I like playing my PS1 games on my PS2. 😉

But the problem itself sounds like a glitch. I had some before…. 🙁

I’ve only had 2 glitches the first was during the ‘climb the wire’ scene. I bought the batteries from the weapon shop guy, but when I went to put one in Cloud said something like "need a battery here"….

the second was a Eocket town, Cid wasn’t in the Rocket

I had to restart both times 🙁

Yeah, I think it’s near that excavation place where you have to get the lunar harp. The Weapon comes from there if I’m not mistaken. But I can’t tell you what’s wrong. I guess it’s a glitch, as everyone already said.
