While emotionally it effected me, I don’t think Final Fantasy VII would have worked as well if she was still alive. She’s the goal that Cloud needs to strive towards to keep living.

Definately upwards of 8 – she used to be my favourite video game girl, but Yuna has snuck ahead.

Yes. Final Fantasy VII makes this point extremely clear, and if that’s not enough, the little movie at the end of Kingdom Hearts with Cloud and Aeris’ reunion should be.

Final Fantasy X-2. That game just didn’t work 🙁

Squall Leonhart – I appreciate his personal strengths and leadership qualities.

In Final Fantasy? Tidus. I think I’d get along great with him – he’s just such a brilliant personality.

Yes, but that powers the game along in the more boring latter stages. Think of Aeris as the character that actually made this game work.

Around 8. Enough to do hours of save file editing to use Aeris against Sephiroth.

Think so, but then I also like Tifa equally so it’s a hard question.

FF1. Speed up the freaking magic animation during battle. It took so long, and that’s why I quit that game.

1. – Well, I hate that. I’m sad that she died. But if you saw what I did to Sephiroth (evil smile), you wouldn’t believe it. I trained with my characters more than 400 hours leveling up, maxing stats, mastering KotR, killing weapons to test myself, getting Limits and ultimate weapons, the secret characters, I mastered almost every materia in the game to se which would be the best against Sephiroth, and so on, and so on… in the end, it took me a few seconds to defeat Sephiroth – he attacked me only once and I killed him… No one kills Aeris and gets away with it, that you can believe me

2. – Definetly 10 – Aeris lost everyone she loved and in the end, she even sacrifices herself to save the planet. This is what I admire the most about Aeris. Her bravery was unmatched by any other character.

3. – Well, I don’t know about thisone. I like both Aeris and Tifa, so I really can’t tell. Sorry.

4. – Well…I would change the fact that Aeris’ parents were killed, especially Ifalna, her mother, because she was one of the last Ancients.

5. – I would like to be Cloud to try to protect Aeris from Sephiroth.

6. – I like Vincent the most.

It sucks, yeah. But that was the whole point.
I guess I’d have to say 6. Yeah, she’s hot and stuff and she did sacrifice herself to save the planet but I don’t think she deserves all that much credit. I mean, she made it to the promised land and now lives in eternal happiness. I don’t consider that much of a sacrifice on her part. Regardless, she was a good healer for the time that you had her and she made the opening cinema pretty. ^_^

I think I’d make it so that when Cloud fights Rufus, Rufus can’t escape. That way Cloud would’ve been able to royally kick his ass. That’s my favorite boss fight, by the way.

Yes. Totally. It made me sad, it made me cry. Fate was too cruel and ripped her world apart from her very eyes. That’s the saddest cruelest thing to happen to such a wonderful person like Aeris.

I saw that….hehehe she was more scarier than seppiroth but is it enough that cloud got revenge for her after she got stab cloud beat the crap out of seppiroth and his mom jenova crazy lady besides cloud should be the one that’s feeling the worst since he saw it but he could not do anything to save her hey did anyone knew aeris is in the movie I think it has something to do with that mystery materia called holy that fell in the water…

1. no I don’t hate the fact, her death made the game work on a level that no other game had reached, it gave even more purpose to the characters continuing fight

2. hmm bout 8, shes definately in my top five computer babes list

3. difficult, obviously her death puts a dampner on a relationship, but i think theres enough evidence in the game to support a union between Cloud and either of the two main females ( yuffie is a side character after all)

4. I’d remove (or make several changes too) FF8 from the franchise ( it’s my least favourite FF)

ok im getting really mad at this why is everbody thinking that sephrioth is so hard. i beat him on level 65 or 70 the first time without omnislash and i even let him attack me first. i beat him in one hit. he is freaking easy.

Because you grow attached to characters after you have them in your party for 20 hours and you see their background. Girls are a lot more emotional than guys anyway. My friend read this story out loud in class (Someone died in there. An innocent person) and the girl next me started sobbing and the one behind her started crying. Nothing against girls, but they react differently to things than guys (i hope you a guy blitzking or else Iam going to look like a dick). SO I think that is why people cry over Aeris (More femals than males although I have a male friend who cried…he was a softie though.) Anyway, Sephiroth was easy no doubt.

Ok I just realized I didnt aswer her questions in the last post… So here I go..

1. Was it worth it? No. Was it necessary? Yes. Did I enjoy it? No, I was just shocked by her death and amazed that the clone had nothing better to do than masturbate on the ledge.

2. I give her a 9 for toughness. A 9 for courage. A 9 because she said a lot of intelligent things. A 9 because she was nice. Overall, her character died too fast so I didn’t get to learn more about her till later. Although I love her, I’ll give her a 8. SHe was my second fave character so that goes to show you what I would give the others…;).

3. I won’t answer a question like this. As far as I am concerned she should be with me not Cloud. My wanker is probably bigger than his anyway ( 🙂 ) Lol

4. If I could change one thing about FF history is that I would go back in time and give them the knowledge of Final fantasy 7 so they could extend it before the deadline and make it all nice and crap. ( 🙂 )

OK, Arris’ death did not really affect me. It was quite upsetting, and it would have been alot more eotional if the music was more depressing.

Aeris is my favorite character. I was very sad when she died. I think that Aeris and Cloud are meant to be together. Aerith and Cloud make a great couple. Aeris was a great character.
