Battle royale.

does anyone on here like the battle royale sries? ill edit this later for more text, sorry.

I’ve only seen the live action movie one and two but i have never read the book what is it like .. the same …. or a more exciting story that is not told in the movie.

well in the books it goes about ten times more detail on the characters. And the teacher Kitano is very different, the whole first book is of him explaining the rules to the class. i have only actually got five of ten books, so i miss half of th story but it is a lot better than the film, also it doesnt leave any loose ends like the film does.

I think it’s gross. I felt really sick when I read it, my friend forced me to do it.

r the pictures in the manga relistic like they put a lot of work into a snaped of arm etc. ? the movie no. 1 had cool parts u would c ^^

I’ve begun to read the Manga. The first one, now I consider myself pretty unshockable, but it was a serious mind-f***. It is not for the feint of heart. When I got over the initial shock I was drawn in. The artwork is fantastically detailed and the story is gripping. I’ve only just finished the second volume but I must say, it’s amazing.

the only nag i have about the mvie is the open ends, it leaves a lot of topics open, like in the beginning when Kuninobu stabas the teacher, it gives no info to the motive for that action. The book goes into detail about the stories behind the characters, the film doesnt. Also the film leaves areas of the plot, like Kitano accusing shogo of hacking the system, and why does he play dead, why does he paint a picture, why doeshe use a waterpistol. but in spite of all of this the fim still rox

i have seen the first film and it is one of my favorites.
it is also the first japanese film i saw and i though it was awesome, the storyline makes u think, like what would you do in that situation?

sadly i havnt seen eny of the manga or read the books but if they are enything as good as the film i would like to read them lol

It;s basically "Lets put as much gore and tits in as we can so all the freaks can have some jacking material."

As far as the manga goes anyway.

The movie i haven’t seen. I’d expect it to be better.
