Again, problem with ff7 win :/

Hi,
i have again problem with my windows-version of ff7.
This time, just after giving the black materia second time to Sephiroth, during the reunion, there’s a movie – giant something standing up, team excluding cloud escaping on the highwind etc. When camera shows Cid, game crashes and return to windows …
Does anyone know, how could i solve this?

As a game consultant I would have to say..that it could be a major bug…but you knew that right? LoL, well try re-installing the game..If its the type of game I am thinking of..you shouldn’t lose your saved date..but then again..I am just a consultant heheheheheheee what would i know!!??

But seriously try re-installing the game..maybe it will flex the bug out.

The windows version of FF7 never worked for me, i jus downloaded the emu and ISO for it from www.emuparadise.org

I’ve still got the original version of FF7 for my comp, but i cant find a half decent version for XP, so i jus used that. I kno the files are big, buts it’s worth it right! 🙂

Well, that’s the last possible option – i would probably lose all the saved data, but it IS an option.

Especially for FF, i installed win98 – it works a lot better then on winxp 🙂

Damn … i guess i will have to switch to psx emulation … the game pisses me off! I installed it back on winxp and passed the crashing movie, and now i have another problem … i’m on highwind … i want to steer it … but the [assist] button is ascribed to 2 actions – toggle map and move forward! And of course it toggles map when i press it! Aargh … :/
