Play as sephiroth?

Alright, i dunno about the rest of you all here, but i’ve seen a lot of different codes and cheats ( gameshark ) to be able to PLAY as sephiroth…i’ve seen the code but never actually TRIED it..

does anyone know if this code is real? And if it is real, can anyone give me the code? Thanks!

If you’ve seen the codes, and would wanna play as sephiroth, then perhaps u should try them. There really is such a code (although I didnt memorize it, sorry) and it enables u to replace vincent with seph. I’ve tried it and it worked. really cool. I was able to use my fave ff7 character.

woh way cool…i didnt think there was any cheats for ff7…do u happen to no if there is a way to get zack? cus he cool!

yea way back when the game first came out i had gameshark codes where you could play as sephiroth. although you didn’t really play as him. he’s not like part of the storyline and he controls himself, just like when you have the flashback with cloud. and if you save the game with him in ur party it fucks up your game too.

Being able to play Sephiroth (or to be more specific, having Sephiroth in your party) is a fairly old thing. However, Gameshark and any other hex editing code device makes the game perform things that is outside of it’s intended use. Because of this, it is possible to destroy your own gamesave or even your entire memory card if you do not take care of what you’re doing. The Sephiroth code (or codes since there are so many different ways to achieve this effect) modifies the game values.

The Sephiroth and Aeris codes are to be used at your own risk. They are not intended to be played outside of their designated programmed roles. The consequences can be avoided if you know what you’re doing and understand exactly what these codes do. Just remember to not save if you don’t know.

Remember, Sephiroth cannot be controlled because he was not programmed as a playable character and both him and Aeris do not contribute to the story in any way if they are included in your party. You are most likely to cause an error in the game and it’ll freeze.
