Is there really anyone who can beat the game in 12 hours and get Excalibur 2?

I always thought it was impossible. Has anyone ever gotten Excalibur 2 and got to Memoria in 12 hours? That’s crazy.

I only got to level 99 because I wanted to beat Ozma so badley. Success.

Tifa Rinoa you don’t have to get to lvl 99 to do it i’ve done it with LOADS less than lvl 99. you just have to have the right equiptment!! i forget what does what i havn’t played FF9 for a couple of months

I beat Ozma at lvl 89.
You have to wear ribbons to protect against the status attacks he keeps throwing down.

who’s ozma, i haven’t played IX for a long time and i dont’ think i did all the side quests n stuff

Yeah, it was just easier though. I guess leveling up to 99 was my obsessive thing in my last game.

Omnislash, Ozma is the hardest boss in the game. To reach him, you have to find the Chocobo Garden and touch the stone in the Garden. Then the boss appears.

I heard Excalibur 2 was weaker than Excaliber on GameFAQS. But wheter that’s true or not I don’t think it’s worth it. Especially since your sacrificing Leveling up and making yourself weak and taking up more time to defeat monsters instead.

dude, I beat Ozma at level 1, it was easy, you just gotta have the right equipment, equipment that absorbs doomsday, guards against holy, and if you can dodge death, and berserk, plus even at level 1 Freya, Zidane and Quina can all deal 9999 damage.

I tried to follow a faq but I give up in the 1 disk, I think.
It’s too hard, but someday *maybe* I try to get it again.

I was at level 59 when i beat ozma. like said before, the right equipment is everything. But I want to try beating the game in 12 hours.. when I get the time to do it..

but as i see… exalibur 2 has a higher attack power:

Exalibur 2: atkpwr-108 addst-none abilities-minus strike, climhazzard, stock
Exalibur- atkpwr- 77 addst- holy abilities- climhazzard

besides the attack power, exalibur has holy as an add status making it imo the better sword.

Yeah, I got Excalibur 2. I had to skip a lot of FMVs and dialogue-skip through a lot of scenes and strategize very carefully, but I did it. And yes, Excalibur II is more powerful.

I Never Even Used Steiner, So It Would Be Pointless For Me To Get The Excalibur 2, Or Even The Excalibur Itself.
