Roman numerals, like our new Latin numerals, are infinite.
However, your placing is horrible. If any Roman saw that number, they would run you through with a Gladius.
The reason you see numbers like MCMXCVIII on movies is for a reason – M is 1000. C is 100. Because the C is followed by an M, it means the second letter minus the first one – there fore MCM is 1900. X is 10, so XC is 90. Therefore, MCMXCVIII is 1998.
XXXCIIIXXXXXXIIIIICCCVVII would actually be MCDXCII… which, incidentally, is 1492.

Seriously though in twenty years they would have brought out a maximum of twelve games. Think about it. If each game takes about two years to make then in twenty years they would have made ten of them. So it would be more like FFXXI, not what you said.
