How do I get Quina?

I understand that Quina can be obtained in disk 1 and he’s in Qu Forest but I have no idea on how to get him. I’m already in Disk 2….can I still get’em?

P.s: I understand that some people don’t like using Wuina that much but I wanna get all 8 characters. Can u also tell me on how to get any other optional characters?

just go to the Qu marsh in the outskirts of Lindblum and s/he should be there catching frogs. get one yourself then talk to him/her and give the frog away. Quale appears then you just have to follow along the dialogue to get Quina.

Quina isn’t such a bad character. Her attacks may be unpridictable, but her blue magic can really help.

his/her only really useful skill is bule mag or retards magic as i like to call it(because it realy ever dose its job) making him/her kind of a usless charactor(unless he has mighty gard, which is good agenced bosses). dont worry if u miss him on the 1st disk because he/she is a compolsery charactor, u will have to get him/her when u go to the outer contanant through Qus marsh.

Achually, I NEVER used Quina

the only time I did was in Burmecia or whenever else you HAD to use Him/Her.

And I find Her/Him very useless, and weak

Quina is pretty good if you level her/him up. So ignore all this criticsm. Every character is good if you just work on them :rolleyes:

yeah -_- so many people said freya stinks and weak as hell but my freya was the one who killed most in my party. killed more than zidane. i didn’t like quina because he is ugliest final fantasy series char ever -.-;; but still learned all of his blue magics because it was kinda funny quina eating monsters to learn magic.

Freya rules!!! i dont see how people saw her as a bad charactor with bad attacks. but quina, he/she was unstandable, he just got in the way all the time.

freya was my strongest character too, but they only characters i heard that were more commenly hated were Eiko and Quina..

i have to say that Zidane is the best for me. it depends who you use all the time. like my zidane is at lvl 60 something so he’s going to better than my Quina at lvl40 something. and i suppose it depends how you play. like in FFX i hardly use lulu and she’s probably weaker as a result and you can’t really tell what level they’re at in FFX (which i think you’ll agree is one of the most annoying things about FFX)
