Have you ever gotten a Pre-emptive Strike on a boss fight?

Okay, this is totally weird. I’m playing FFVII right now. I’m on the Cargo ship, fighting Jenova-Birth(I think it is). And I just gotten a Pre-Emptive attack on her. Isn’t that weird?

I heard that’s rare.

Well, has anyone else got a pre-emptive attack on a boss fight before?

Yeah, when i faced materia keeper for the first time i got pre-emptive strike.

I always thought that it was impossible to get a Pre-Emptive Strike against a boss. But I don’t care about the game anymore, so it doesn’t matter.

I can’t remember it happening to me, but I’m sure it has happened.

I’ve had a strange experience with Ruby Weapon. I beat it, but the game never left the battle and I was stuck standing there. It wasn’t frozen, I was just stuck in the battle with no enemy. I had to turn off the game. It was annoying, because I beat it with everyone alive for maximum EXP and AP.

Pre-emptive on a boss! thats cool. yeah i myself have never gotten a pre-emptive on a boss but i hear it is possible. yeah give my regards to Cloud Tifa. lol

Tifa Rinoa, I got a pre-emptive battle against Jenova birth, too. I thought it was a mistake, because how often does that happen? I havn’t talked to anyone with the same experience. I guess its just random, though.

I got it with the Turks when I was back in Midgar to stop Hojo.

Very. This is my seventh time playing the game, and I’ve never got a pre-emptive attack on a boss. I beleive it’s rare. After this happening today, I did get a memory flashback about my boyfriend once getting a pre-emptive attack on a boss….hmmm.

I never have strangely. I’ve most probably played through the game 10 times and I never have got a pre-emptive strike on a boss.
