Evrae!

hi im not sure if this is the right place for this but im doing it anyway.

does anybody have any good ideas or stratedy to beat Evrae? i’ve tries soooo many times to beat it, I get to when it casts haste and my party gets wiped out, I always have Rikku on the team giving al bhed potions but the poison breath always kills her 🙁 so any idead anyone?

I’m not really sure if this will be much help but my method was to have tidus, Rikku, and whoever else you choose and just to have rikku use an Al Bhed potion every turn without fail, tidus use the pull back command as soon as Evrae breathes in (or using his most powerful attack) and the other character using his/her most powerful attack also, but I think that beating evrae is also partly to do with luck.

i might be an idea to try try casting dispel when evrae casts haste.

cast haste on as many of your party members as possible (use hastaga if you’ve got it) and cast slow on evrae (he’s tough so you might have to try slow more than once). it might be a good idea to train your characters a bit by fighting the fiends on the airship. i always do! like the good names were taken says, dispel really helps. if you use all the overdrives you’ve got, you should take a good chunk out of his hp. when you pull back from evrae, concentrate on healing, and having lulu cast her strongest spells while wakka attacks. thats all i can think of! good luck!

I had trouble with evrae, too.

I casted haste on Auron, Tidus, Rikku, Lulu, and Wakka. Posion ward=GREAT. Every two round or so, I’d move the ship back, and use Lulu and Wakka, while Rikku’s al bhed potions healed me. Whenever I moved forward, I used Auron for physical attack, and Tidus’s delaye attack stopped him from casting the poison right away. Just heal, even if your hitpoints aren’t that low, and keep casting affective spells, and attacking!

I just beat Evrea (Yay!).

I casted Haste on Tidus, Rikku, Lulu, Wakka and Auron.

Far away I had Lulu cast Fira, Wakka attack and Rikku use Luck (thats all she could do for now ^ ^).

Up close I had Auron Attack, and Tidus attack also, or move back.

Oh up close I also stole some Water Gems ^ ^ .

What Sin battle are you talking about??? If it’s the last one which part are you having trouble with?? Try to be a little more exact here.

well the girl says she ain’t there yet… she might need help with all three. I’d love to help but sometimes u should just use ur own imagination and find your own method. If it get’s ridiculus than I might help u but by now u should be used to the game enough to kill it on your own. One game long idea though is from the start get every possible power sphere (place in a blank node for attack + 4 points) and give them all to Yuna, other charecters will gain attack power eventually but her grid don’t give attack power. Do this and the Aeons will be a hell of alot stronger.

I’ll try to beat Sin by myself first, I’m pretty sure I’ll be able too!

I’ll just have to wait and see…

I’ve never really had any trouble with Evrea, or sin. it was other things i always had a prblom with, ah well… i suppose i must have spent more time than most lvling up

training is good for like beating bosses i train like crazy in all ff games….

but lots of antidotes customise your sheilds and stuff to posion ward or the better poison one once you’re in the fight move out straight away after the rockets arew fired move back in and attack and heal and use your limit breaks to if u have them just keep going in a out until all rockets are used up then attack and keep healing you should beat it.

O yeh once you fight it underwater for the last time just use 2 pheonix downs and then swim on and you can find sum real good weapons for wakka and tidus…

also remember to use haste and if your characters have low health train em up on the airship their should be plenty of monsters to fight…
