Soul Calibur II Ranks

So, just recently (today) I finally finished unlocking all 86 things possible, and I was wondering…

what sort of ranks can you get to in WMM?

I know:
76 – Platinum Edgemaster – some amount of exp (needed for Lizardman)
77 – Grand Edgemaster of the Basilisk – 500,00 exp
78 – Grand Edgemaster of the Gorgon (my current rank) – 600,000 exp

I want to know if it’s worth getting to the max rank for some cool title. 😡

’cause, Grand Edgemaster of the Basilisk is pretty cool. 😎

The Grand Edgemaster of the (whatever) rank is actually based on the Arcade Conquest Ranks. There are 4 nations that you can join in Conquest mode and if you get the highest rank out of all the places, you get the Grand Edgemaster of the (whatever).

I think the final rank is when you max out the counter… I forgot the name of the rank, something along the lines of "Ultimate Counter Stopper" or something.

I just got this game, but i find it hard to play, i can’t seem to clear the arcade without dying (which means no score in the ranks right??)

the only high score i got is in survival mode, and this is also no higher then 9 (with Maxi)
Anyone got some pointers??

Practice as a character and play Weapon Master Mode are the best ways to get better.
I wouldn’t recommend Maxi until you start playing Extra modes with his ultimate weapon, because otherwise he’s too weak. >.>

I’m looking through the Limited Edition Fighter’s Guide, and I don’t see a list of all the ranks yet. Still, this game has so much to offer, it’s amazing.

Raphaels 3 it attack is corny and v useful when you cant actually do anything else…

Practice vs the hardest comp ONLY doing the funky block thing (guard impact?) :S, and become proficient at that, and use that in ur fights….. itll help. Lots.

choose another character! maxi is, as already said, till till you get falcon or better weapons for him. I suggest the likes of nightmare, xianghua (my personal favourite), Mitsurugi and the like. ro go kilik/seung mena for range to keep them at bay….
