Propogators on Ragnorak=SCARY!

The Propogators on Ragnorak. Those things are so SCARY! On video games, every time an enemy(that’s a monster hideous and scary looking) are my biggest fear in video games! I mean, I’ve seriously gotten nightmares about those Propogators! They chase you! Who else doesn’t think they’re scary? It’s sorta like the movie Alien where a scary looking monster is on the ship!

Who else had fear of the Propogators? The scary part is, I couldn’t beat them when I first played FFVIII!

Propogator Music = Scary.

Uhhh… I thought they were kinda cool. Getting them to stay dead was an interesting challenge.

Propogator Music did add on to there scariness!

Just the fact about the propogators chasing you I though made them scary. I dunno about the looks, but I find the monster design without eyes (maybe just teeth too) for a head scary.

A monster with a name which sound slightly like a womans sex aid does not impress me greatly.
Reckon they should have beamed Bush and Cheney aboard. That’d scare the shit out of me.

what freaked me out most for an enemy was the sand worm deal in FF7. mostly because it looked like an uncut penis with spikes.

I agree! I thought all of the worms in general of FF were rather freaky. I’m scared of the no eyes and just teeth on the head. SCARY!

They did look cool, yes.

But did anyone else find the fact that they chase you to the death scary?

Not all the propogators scared me the first time. But one of them ( I think it was the yellow one at the pilot room) just ran to into you and pushed out to fight it. That really made me jump.

I thought they were scary, because right when you enter the screen they’re huge and running toward you… When the music is somewhat quiet, and all the sudden one runs towards you and ou get into a battle, it makes me jump. I don’t like BIG monsters…

I found Propogaters REALLY SCARY!!!

i got so mad when i had to replay that section like…5 times (i was at like level 15)

i had a good stratedgy tho,i read that they were weak to Blizzard,so i had Squall Summon Shiva and Rinoa either Heal or use Blizzaga (had a load of em too!)

I BEAT THEM YAY!

(still haven’t beat the game though!)

anyway they are SO FREAKY!!! (and Big!) : D

Yeah I voted they were scary…but for the sole reasons that the music was scary and the propagator chased you sometime…

Those are the exact two reason’s why I think so! I got two or three nightmares about them that I wouldn’t get out!

I’ve even had dreams about the Weopons of FFVII chasing you.

I think, they are scary somehow.

And they were pretty annyoning at the beginning, because I didn’t read the information before, so I didn’t know how to kill them…. :rolleyes:

Now, they are very easy to kill, but they are still scary, and the music is too. 😉

I didn’t think that they were that scary. But the teeth were a little freaky though

They were only scary when i was low on health and they come running towards you lol.

i always got an adrenaline rush when i was trying to run past them.

they werent that scary, they were more challenging as I see it. Because you had to defeat them according to their colours.. hmm I took me some time to find the best combination to defeat them all in pairs and such..

They weren’t that scary until I found out I killed them in the wrong order and they came back to life and Rinoa was dead and I only had…like…500 HP out of like….7650 HP. I still won with Renzokuken furies and they kept missing. Suckers!!

To be honest, I didn’t care about them at all until the first time I got chased by one. I think I screamed. But I am easily frightened like that! I just didnt know they’d do something like that. Afterwards, it wasn’t a big deal.

I also remember being freaked out in FF7 when Emerald Weapon was just standing there ominously. 🙁

That’s the thing about video games that freak me out the most too; being chased by something big and ugly when your not even doing anything to provoke it =-O .

The Emerald Weapon didn’t freak me out, because I didn’t know what it was at first, so I go up to it, realize first thing how powerful it was, my characters get killed, then I tell myself "I’m not even gonna mess with that thing =-O ! " .

But I got a full strategy on it ( had to be alittle time consuming) I beat it after getting the full strategy, then I get proud of myself because that was the first video game challenge I accomplish.

The thing the makes the Weapons alittle less scary is that they won’t hurt you unless you go up to them and threaten them(like running into them).

I always thought, what if in a future Final Fantasy they make a Weapon fight that actually chases you and you can’t avoid it(I’ve had a dream about that once)? Or would that be alittle too much?

Not necissarily, like I said, just the ones that chase me and I can’t run away from.

Yes they were scary… I didn’t check any walkthrough or anything while playing FF8 so I wasn’t prepared of it. I just ran down and an alien comes rushing towards me! Scary as hell!

Oh crap, the propogators were weird o.O I wouldn’t say they scared me, really…they were just…really ugly. ><
Not as ugly as Ruby Weapon in FF7 o.O That thing’s face was just disturbing.

No they weren’t scary at all. They were pretty easy to kill, but killing them in order was kind of annoying.
