Burnout 3.

Holy shit, batman.
This game is amazing. I absolutely despise 90% of driving games, but this is so fantastically beautiful, so utterly addictive, and so stupidly fun that I can’t put it down.

You get rewarded for taking stupid risks, such as driving down the wrong side of the road, scraping oncoming traffic, or ramming other cars into the side of the road. You get boost power, meaning you can ram/race even faster.

There’re loads of unlockables (Extra cars and events, mostly).

I give it 10/10. It’s great.

I played the demo, but haven’t had a chance to get the full game yet. It does, however, seem very awesome, and I had a blast just playing the one track in the demo. I’ll be at least renting this game very soon.

Hrmm.
If you can (i’m not sure if you have one :() get the xbox version. You have no idea how much custom soundtracks add to the game.

I looked at the soundtrack though and is has some decent songs at least.

Okay, just got off from a "few minutes" of gaming that turned into about an hour and a half. Having my own soundtrack adds…a great deal to the game.

Seriously.

Get a good mix of fast, frantic tracks in there, and you’re going to have trouble putting the game down.

In Flames – Jotun, Muse – Thoughts of a Dying Atheist and Metallica – Mercyful Fate are winners at the moment.

Burnout 3 IS an amazing game!

I’ve only played the demo so far, but I think its superb!

Definatly a 10/10

I just got it for PS2.

I’ve been so obsessed with this game today that I hardly got any sleep before coming in to work. It’s insanely fun and I love how cutthroat the races are.

But you’re right about Road Rage. Another one I really like is Elimination. Both of them get downright brutal.

The rubber band AI takes a little fun from races. They can get really far from you, but not the other way round.
