What Do you think of Yaoi/Shonen Ai?

yes you are either disgusted by it or you are totally in luv with it, i personally like it haha yesh you can look at my words with disgust but i dont care X3 my fav shonen-ai is either Gravitation or Yami-No Matsui (sp?) if you care…

Well I never saw an yaoi/shouen-yi (spelling anime before. But my girlfriend is a yaoi writer on fanfiction.net and I really don’t find that much of a problem with it. As long as she does’nt claim her parings are really gay then I don’t see any issue.
Oh and in case you’re wondering her favorite paring is Seifer/Zell from FFVIII *shudders*

Actually, I’ll be more specific. There’s original Yaoi/Shonen Ai, like Yami No Matsuei, and there’s fanfiction/fanart/doujinshi… and my tolerance for the latter is… well… shrinking, because fangirls are using this too excessively, I think. They find the unlikeliest pairings in the unlikeliest series… Sometimes, it’s plainly ridiculous. 🙁

I don’t really like any love stories, be it boy/girl or boy/boy, but as a story element among others, I don’t mind it. If there is more to it than just yaoi, it’s okay.

And Yami No Matsuei is freaky. I think I only read the first four volumes, buuuuuut I saw some scans and… well… no… I don’t wanna see that. XD

It’s weird, I was a fan (kinda) of shounen-ai on the first place. But now, I feel gross (sometimes no, but most of the time yes) about it. I’m now converted from shounen-ai fan to shoujo-ai fan ^^; Gee, I’m so weird.

Its fascinating to me, I guess you think i’m weird but i used to write lemons for a site on Yaoi with Gundam Wing characters. My fav. parring was Herro and Duo (lol) people told me they was pretty good

Ohhhhh!!!! I simply love yaoi or shonen-ai. I mostly read mild yaoi tho^^ he he. well yami no matsuei are my fav anime to !!! And ofcourse the manga *drool* Muraki-sensei is my god!!!

I like it. But I also happen to write Kurama/Hiei shounen-ai fanfiction and love reading that pairing more.

Personally I don’t mind Yaoi, It’s not my thing, If somebody I knew had a yaoi collection I wouldn’t go and make fun of the person. That person likes that stuff, everybody has their likes and dislikes.
