New update makes PLD overshadow NIN?

With the release of CoP, there’s going to be another one of those huge updates before it comes out. PLD’s Cover wait time has been reduced from 5 to 3 minutes and PLD can raise at 50 instead of 75. NIN’s Utsusemi will be completely removed by Area attacks…. whatever that means, no one knows for sure but it’s probably AoE.

What do you think? 😮

lol So it IS true, I need to buy another scroll for level 50…thank god it’s not an expensive one.

In my HUMBLE and totally UNBIASED opinion, we Paladins ALREADY overshadow Ninjas…:p

Personally, Typo doesn’t see this making any drastic difference in the performance of your average ninja. BLM will still have to hold back. "X3

I don’t hate Ninjas that much, but it’s so much to tease them and the Ninja-lovers all the time.

maybe this is square-enix’s way of stating the fact that:
NINJA’S WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE TANKS!!!

maybe this will get ppl off my back about not being a nin tank, besides, ive always thought pld tanks were better anyway, ninjas still rule
but pld > nin when it comes to tanking….
(but nin still best class!!!)

Summoner (which is the job im currently on) really benefit from NIN tanks. If this majorly fucks up nin tanking it’ll suck.

Personally I just think NIN’s will hafta be even more selective about what they tank, especially for xp. Not like they didn’t have to be selective already, but this will make them have to actually plan what to tank. They’ll hafta be really iffy about anything with a shadow removing AE. I bet anything there will still be AE’s that don’t remove shadows, just a few of the physical based ones will. I doubt things like Bubble shower or bomb toss (that go passed shadows anyway) will remove them.
