Kuja………….

Is it a guy or a girl?I had this same problem with Riku from Kingdom Hearts.Now I call him heshe.

Kuja is male. Though I agree on your question. He has a girlish complexion (did I spell that right?). But, if he were a girl, (and knowing Square, they would look like this) he would have to VERY large bumps on "her" chest. But, he doesn’t. Though, it is strange that they put a GUY in thong-type pants.

I saw somewhere that in the japanese version kuja was supposed to be a girl.

That makes sense. Kuja does look like a girl. You know that one movie when Kuja sends his eidolon on Brahne? He looks like a girl when he puts his hand on his chin and smiles.

Stop asking this question. He is male. It is true he looks more feminine than Steiner, and yes, he wears unique clothes, but he is male, and there is no doubt about that.

No character in the game has doubts about it. And frankly, he doesn’t look female. If he was female, everyone would complain about him looking too masculine. Now. Really. Think of less obvious questions to ask. 😛

I couldn’t tell if he was male/female until, like, the second disc.

I’ve read that they made Kuja a male instead of a female because in one scene of the game (when Garnet is back at Alexandria Castle) Kuja talkes about how beautiful she is an all that and Square apparently decided it would’nt look right in the American version.

But damn they could at least made his character less feminine if they wanted him to be a male.
