In some places it say’s Aries…and in others it say’s Arieth…

WHICH IS RIGHT???

personally i prefer Arieth

It’s Aerith, and that’s the Japanese name. However they prononce th as a s so you still pronounce it the same.

I think it was Aerith in Kingdom Hearts and Aeris in FF.

Actually, it’s not a Japanese name at all. Officially, it would be Aerith (Source of this would be from Kingdom Hearts). I guess when it was translated to the US, the "th" sound didn’t make it through translation (it was Earisu in katakana). The Japanese Language does not have "th" (say three, they say it kinda like tulee or tlee).

it was "Aeris Gainsborough" in FF7. eh correct me if im wrong about the last name. well japanese FF7 and USA FF7 are different and so the names ;o

It’s Aerith, although I was exposed to Aeris first and use that.
