I can see it now, monopoly and FF7 combine to make a special edition FF7 Monopoly, think about it the purlpe spaces are Maidgar and Kalm and then we make are spaces better towns and stuff that would be awsome!!

only disadvantage would probably be that the texts will be in japanese (and probably not a translation available)

Im liking this idea! Lessee;
We could pickout some of the best houses ie Shinra Mansion, Weapons Sellers, Aeris Moms etc.
Or just use all of the places the characters visit.
Not sure what you’d use for Utilities and Stations? Ideas?

If this isn’t really going to happen, then are we just syupposed to comment on your ‘seeing’ of the idea.

Utilities – Mako plant, and… What other form of power do they have?

Stations – Ruby Weapon, Emerald Weapon, Diamond Weapon, Ultima Weapon. Who said they had to be locations? And with that website, you choose your own icon – it is designed so that you don’t need to use locations.

Just use a custom avatar. find a picture somewhere else, right click it, go to properties and write out it’s http:// thingy.

As for the monopoly… Sure, it’d be interesting. Not quite sure I’d buy it, because I’m not into board games, but it’d definately be interesting just to have.

I don’t quite know how they’d pull it off. Maybe… Buggy, Tiny Bronco, Rocket Ship, and Highwind for the "railroads"? Utilities can probably be… a reactor and a chocobo?

Of course, I highly doubt this would happen… but it IS interesting to think about. I’d definately be interested in seeing other’s ideas.

Indeed, as PhildJacko said, you can create "Monopoly" versions of whtever you want.

I like acpo’s idea for the stations, and for the squares I think it should be a "progression" thing (ie Midgar and Kalm on brown, onwards until perhaps Mideel and the North Cave on dark blue).

The tokens would, of course, be the characters, and chance and community chest could be… well, something.

Hes definately on to something, but I quite like the idea of using the Weapons as utilities.
Also, would you use the game characters as the players pieces?
And I think the Shinra Mansion and Shinra Headquarters should be the purple, or maybe the Tropical Getaway at Costa Del Sol…

I was thnkin more of how you visit the towns in order Midgar slums and Kalm are puplre and so on, you’re right on the pieces part but the utlities would be hard but i like the railroads as the trraveling machines Buggy, Tiny Bronco, Highwind and the Sub… and whats wrong with my Avatar!!!
