I pronounce it Tie-dus. I wonder how they would have pronounced it…

Well, if they had called him by name it certainly would have answered my question: How do you pronounce his name?

Yeah Gunner_Yuna that is how I pronounce it. In America they pronounce it TEA-dus but I pronounce it TIE-dus 😛 Its better that way i think 😀
they refered to tidus as;
him
that young man
and you-know-who in 10-2…i think they regret it!
at the end of the good ending, when he speaks there is no name, just the subtitles(words, no name)
I’ve always pronounced it Tee-dus because before the game came out, I saw a trailer and the narrator pronounced it that way. James Arnold Taylor also pronounced it like that. I found it weird when I first heard someone pronounce it Tie-dus.
They say his name in Kingdom Hearts. ^^
Before Kingdom Hearts came out, I think most people pronounced it Tie-Dus. I certainly did. Now it’s commonly known that’s it’s Tee-dus. I didn’t know that there was anything "official" before then that had it pronounced that way. Interesting.
tidus pronounced tea-dus i mean why not make it tedus or something ?
they did, its a japanese name, and in most cases, they pronounce they’re ‘i’ as ‘e'(in names) if you watch a lot of anime, you’ll know this….
