Favorite FF battle music

What’s your favorite final fantasy battle music? Mine would have to be final fantasy VIII’s. I like the others, but some just get too repetitive. I also like X’s.

Yea, I’d have to agree with you there…Braska’s final aeon…..or maye second Trance Kuja’s battle music.

For some reason, I like the fighting music in FFVIII when you are playing Laguna. It is very catchy.

i like 7’s regular battle music and jenova battle music.

FFVI’s regular battle music is classic. I have it in my head now. ^^

That’s generally known as the Fanfare, although sometimes Uematsu calls it something else (like Victory! or, in FFVIII’s case; The Winner.)

As for my favourite battle themes:

Normal Battle: Battle I (FFIX), Fight I (FFIV)

Boss Battle: Still More Fighting (FFVII), Battle II (FFII), Backfire (FF Tactics)

Special Battle: Man WIth the Machine Gun (FFVIII), Hunter’s Chance (FFIX), Protecting My Devotion (FFIX), Tri-Section (FF Tactics)

Special Boss Battle: Battle With Gilgamesh (FFV), The Fierce Battle (FFVI), J-E-N-O-V-A (FFVII)

Not quite the Final Boss: Jenova Absolute (FFVII), The Legendary Beast (FFVIII), Dark Messenger (FFIX), Battle With Seymour (FFX), Altima, the Nice Body (FF Tactics)

Final Boss Battle: Dancing Mad (FFVI), One-Winged Angel (FFVII), The Extreme (FFVIII), Final Battle (FFIX), Altima, the Perfect Body (FF Tactics)

My favorite boss theme is VII’s. I love the jenova battle music, and the music when you’re fighting the different sephiroth forms. Oh yeah, and the battle arena music is awesome! In IX I like the festival of the hunt music the best.

My favorite one was the battle theme against any boss in FF7 and FF8 and the Jenova battle themes were pretty cool also.

I liked the theme when battling with laguna.

I also like the theme when fighting bizzaro Sephiroth

I liked FFX and Trance Kuja 😀

ff7’s Safer Sephiroth song (one winged angel) and it’s boss music (those who fight further).

Go here (http://www.square-enix-usa.com/uematsu/black_mages/), it’s Uematsu’s band (the composer). It’s actually really interesting to hear, they do final fantasy fight music, but on rock and roll instruments.

I like the FFVIII boss fight music.

I also like the FFVII boss fight music.

And the sorceress battles in FFVIII are cool!

I loved that too, because it was Aerith’s theme they were playing! I liked too how it was playing her theme showing that she will be remembered after her death.
