Tidus and Jecht’s sign

Anyone can explain what is that symbol that tidus has for earings,pendant and all over his clothes. Also Jecht has the same thing and when you fight Braska’s Final Aeon behind it there is also this sign.

I think that is the Zanarkand Abes’ logo. I’m not sure, but it has something to do with Zanarkand.

Yes, that’s right. That’s the Abes’ logo.

It is indeed the Abe’s logo…but it is representative of all things Zanarkand, in the same way that he Yu Yevon symbol (the single eye with wings) is representative of all things doing with Bevelle or the Yevonites.

If that’s the Abe’s logo then why does Yuna wear it in X-2? And how would she have known about it?

Well I don’t remember him saying anything about it but then again the game doesn’t follow them every second so who knows?

whether he mentions it or not, the damn thing is kinda hard to miss.

Rikku makes Yuna’s default outfit. She put that there to help Yuna feel better, in a way so that she had something to remember about Tidus. I think it also symbolizes Yuna’s belief and motivation in that Tidus was still able to be brought back and also that she believed in everything he said since she knew it was his blitzball logo and something important to him. She wanted to support him. Yu Yevon wore the sign because he was from Zanarkand–the real one which we know had blitzball in it since it was mentioned that the dream Zanarkand was a copy to keep to glory of the real, destroyed Zanarkand alive.

I dont know if this helps but when it starts up it says the final fantasy 10 project something like that maybe it was a logo for the project and they just thought to put it in the game or something.

Or they put it there because they knew the Zanarkand Abes sign was going to be somewhat important. The game centers around Tidus, so maybe they chose that sign to sort of represent him.

yeah…but i think the characters(frm all ff’s) have they’re little thing that makes them…oh i dunno the word but it goes like this;

Tidus: the neckless, official sign of zanarkand abes, earing
Squall: the lion heart neckless, ring
Rhinoa:the wings, white feathers
Zell: tatoo on face
Yuna: the neckless
Rikku: the swirly iris’
Wakka: his big ginger hair!

well you get the point….its like they’re…tag or something you know?….you get it

Its the Zanarkand abes symbol. Im getting the necklace for my bday 😀

I think Yuna’s "tag" would be the hibiscus flower, and in X-2, maybe the guns or things in her hair. The hibiscus flower is a flower that originates in Okinawa, and the dialect (Yuna) means night. The Yuna flower is a type of hibiscus, and it means night because it only opens up at night. It’s a gorgeous, purple flower. The patterns on Yuna’s dress are hibiscus. Here’s a pictuer of one, but I don’t think it’s a very pretty one compared to most.

That’s cool, huh? Since Tidus in Okinawa means the sun or light, hope, daytime. And there’s a bunch of ways you can analyze this, so I won’t get into the whole thing or it would take forever to write.

Seymour has those wierd lion tatoos or whatever

yeah those tatoos, the veins/lines on his face and his bit weird blue hair lol

It looks a bit like the Blood-Sin from vagrant story
