I’m confused 🙁

Ok. When you beat the original bomberman game, bomberman becomes a normal human. He’s the guy walking on the bottom of the screen in the first screenshot… that’s how he looks as a human. It also says to look for him in another Hudson game.

Now, look at the character in championship lode runner that was also put out by Hudson…

edit for further clarification:

THEY ARE THE SAME CHARACTER! BOMBERMAN BECAME A CHAMPION LODE RUNNER!

So… Bomber Man… went to HALO LIKE GUY… to TV HEAD GUY… or LODE RUNNER?!??!

Actually, the connection is slightly more, and yes, I registered just to post this.

First of all, it’s not just Championship Lode Runner, the same sprites are used in regular NES Lode Runner. Also, take a good look at the bad guys in Lode Runner – they’re Bomberman sprites! In other words, as far as the NES is concerned, Lode Runner and Bomberman are the same character.

I might, I dunno. I actually found this thread while searching for Bomberman stuff, anyway. I visit so many boards already that it’s hard to add one more. I’m not a *huge* FF fan, although I quite enjoyed FF4.

Out of curiousity, how’d you wind up here?

Sure you’ve posted it in one of those threads sometime or another, but it never stuck in my brain if you did.

I came here to say-eloquently- that Final Fantasy sucks and to get people to try some other games(re: Suikoden). Then I never left. Someone said, "Oh yeah?why does FF suck"… and I wrote an essay in response. =|

I was stuck in summer school with a few hours between classes and nothing to do then(or something like that). I had just come across message boards, having been on the internet for less than a year, and I think I had just finished a bout of fist shaking after reading an article in a game magazine or something.

I went to quite a few boards actually. This was the only one I stuck around at… plus some brief time at FFWA where I bumped into TK a lot, I think.

Yeah, the colors are different, but the pixels are the same otherwise. Apply the colors of one, to the other, and it will look the same.

Woah, TK went to FFWA?

FFS is like 50% unknown people from WA who are really cool.

Anyways… I don’t generally care that much for FFs, either.
