i didnt quite get the ending did he die im confused. Help?

You mean Squall, right?

No, he did not die, but he was lost and could not get back to his own time. Rinoa was waiting for him in the place where he had promised to meet her, and eventually her love for him gave him the light to pull him back to the world he was born in.

Of course, the fact he’s still alive is confirmed at the end of the credits when you see he and Rinoa snuggle up and kiss…

Yeah, Adam summed up the ending pretty nicely.

It always surprises me when I see how many people never bothered to leave their playstations on long enough to see the scene after the credits.

i think that the ending was brillant, the best ending i hav seen. the same gose 4 the ending boss

Yes, I do.

There was a thread in these forums ages ago, and there were quite a few people who’d never seen that scene, arguing that Squall died at the end.

I really loved that ending.. best ending i’ve ever seen.. I loved the scene with the Camera Recording the SeeD celebration.. it shows how much joy you can express without words..

Didn’t you want to hear Squall’s voice when he shouted "Rinoa" and even lip-synced it..
