Either no one has heard of it, or no one cares about it; because I couldn’t find it in the search. Either way, I now make a thread about it.

Fans of Nobuo Uematsu and Heavy Metal should love this:

He formed a heavy metal band! and made an album of all the Final Fantasy Battle music, but it’s heavy metal!

I don’t know if he did this for the sole purpose of the cd, or if he’ll keep the band. (I know that’s unlikely though 🙁 )

I just think that was a great Idea, this thing is on my birthday list, that website has a couple songs on it, but a friend of mine bought it so I had the chance to listen to more of it.

please tell me if this is old news, so as not to prolong any humiliation, I just don’t beleive I couldn’t find it in the forums, so it’s either very new, or I crawled out from under a rock

Yay~! For once, a thread is actually about what I hoped it would be!

The Black Mages rock. I haven’t heard that much stuff by them unfortunately, but I love everything I have heard. Someone on my lj friends list picked up their cd at an anime con and raved about them. They sent me a few tracks, but I’ve had a hard time tracking down their album since then.

Well, it IS old news, but that doesn’t mean they don’t rock, hm… 😛

Hmm, well… yeah, it is old news, but don’t feel so bad, you’ve just made the first topic in here that I’ve actually wanted to respond to in a long, long time!

I actually hear their concerts are rather short… and, uh, metal sucks! (it’s not really my thing ;P). But despite that, the opportunity to socialise with other FF fans is pretty cool, and I would see them just for that. Lord knows if they are actually going to do more than… like, 4, though. ;(

Hmm… I kind of doubt it. I haven’t heard anything like this, but I suppose that Nobuo Uematsu is pretty busy with his original work and also with other concerts every now and then.

DUP, METAL ROCKS.

But I want him to do different arrangements, too. Not just the Black Mages style, but others… I like the variety, maybe that’s one of the reason why I love Nobuo Uematsu’s music…

Oh, I love this one! One of my favorite FF CDs I got. Very powerful! 😀

Well, I�ve heard, they are planning a second black mage album. I�m not sure, if this is real, or just a rumor though. 😉

But I�m looking forward to it…. 🙂

I remember hearing a few of these tracks awhile ago… I think it was Kie that told me to give them a listen, but I could be mistaken. Anyway, what I heard of the CD was really good, I liked the new feel the tracks had!

They are great I must say, but there album is missing. 🙁
