Party Palooza!!

Ok guys I was wonderin what party you used in VIII. I’m starting a new game and was looking for a new party to use. My current party is Squall, Selphie, and Zell but in this new game I would like to include Rinoa in the party. So guys any ideas??

the party i used my 2nd time was squall rinoa and irvine pretty damaging but my fav party is squall zell and Irvine theyve got damage and good limits i use irvine for support mostly though.

Squall, because I have to
Quistis, because of the one limit (forgot the name, but the ones, all your enemys just dissapear in a black hole. I love this one, because even bigger enemys will vanish….)
Selphie, because of her limit levidega or however it called (the one where enemys just fly away)

I liked to use those, because they were always good for a quick fight. 😉

Sometimes I liked Rinoa in my team, too. She�s some good limits as well. 🙂

Me too i used Squall, Rinoa and Zell. I used Rinoa because of her limits breaks (like the one that give you invincibility, very useful at the end of the game), And i dont know why i used Zell, maybe i should try another character…

the best party is

zell: his hp is very high
squall: is thye main charater
ervine: his limit break is one of the best ones in the game

Actually Zell is the best character Limit wise; just use the simplest of moves over and over again. That way you can land alot of 9999 damage in a fair amount of time. Outdoing Irvine.

I almost always used Rinoa and Squall.

I fluctuate between Quistis, Selphie, and Zell witht the third spot.

I always used Squall and Rinoa! The third party member would either be Quistis or Irvine.

Squall, Zell rotating with Irvine and Rinoa, Irvine comes for Boss Battles 🙂

Ok guys just to let you know Ive begun my new game!! Im in Timber now with….Squall lv.28, Zell Lv.25, and Selphie Lv.21. On Squall I have Ifrit and Diablos on Zell I have Shiva and on Selphie I have Quezacotl(I cant spell that!) and Siren.

Hey Yuffy! i highly recommend you not to train your chars until before going to the time compression, i get diablo real early in the game, so i get that none encounter ability, and when i’m ready to go to the time compression in esthar i get the Rag and i train with the stat bonuses on my characters, that way i can get higher stats without having to junction my best magic 🙂 its all strategy, leveling up early in the game is a waste of stat points 😉

Sadly You’ve reached me to late…lol. I knew about the stat thing when I started my game and Selphie has had Mag Bonus (cause I wanted her to have massive Magic Power!) and Squall has had Str Bonus (For LionHeart). Zell is kinda of a lost cause but I’m still giving him Cactuar anyway.

I use Squall, Zell, and Quistis. In my opinion, those are the three strongest characters. Irvine is OK, but he can’t get much shots off. And he lacks the support, humor, and female-influence that Quistis provides. 🙂

NY, if you really want to use Rinoa, I would take out Selphie for her.

I liked Squall, Selphie, and Irvine. Sometimes Zell or Quistis instead of Selphie or Irvine, with Selphie on the higher priority.

i liked zell cause he is so cool and his limit break is asume squall he had a cool limit break too and rinoa for hjer limit break also. invinsable moon and wishign star or what not r my favs and lion heart was so cool. yea i thought that they had the best id get aura stones or the spells and just to there limits breaks and kick ass with it.

I always have Squall and Rinoa in my party because Squall has a really high attack and HP, and he also has an awesome limit break. Rinoa is a great magic user and she has an awesome weapon.
As for the third member, I bob back and forth between Quistis and Irvine. Quistis is okay in battle, and her Blue Magic limit breaks are awesome. Irvine is great in battle, but his limit break is okay.
Selphie’s an interesting and complex character, and her limit break is awesome; however, in battle, she sucks. Zell is just annoying, and he’s useless in battle.
