Does anyone know a really good MMORPG or just an ORPG that can work ok on 56k??

You could try Ragnarok Online (http://www.ragnarokonline.com/), if you haven’t already.

To tell you the truth, City of Heroes and Final Fantasy XI run ok on dial up. I recently changed to RoadRunner (w00t) so I’m used to perfection on MMORPGs now and if I changed back i probably would notice lags here and their. But I think they both run good even on dial up. Just make sure you have a good enough computer.

There doesn’t seem to be an option for Australia at the Ragnarok Online site 🙁

Final Fantasy XI will work on 56k.

You’d have to import it though. 🙁

I think it’s the ‘USA INT’L’ site for Australia.

You could wait untill November and play Guild Wars because it is going to be totally awesome and there is no monthly fee.

Yes, as if this is going to happen. 🙄

Please stick on topic, if possible. 🙂

I haven’t really gotten into online RPGs at all, so I can’t recommend any… I guess there’s Everquest you could give a go if it’s out on the PC… But I don’t know how good it is.
