Help!!!!! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese Read This!!!

i dont know what the heck happened but i tried to load my game and it said file is ruined!!! it wont let me load anything! and i dont know what to do… if anyone can help, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese tell me something!!

don’t have a clue, but it might help if you told if it is PSX or PC.

Your memory card is corrupted, there is nothing you can do except buy a sony memory card and begin a new game.

Yep, that does help. It tells us that you are undoubtedly screwed.

Whereas there might be a way to salvage it on the PC, there’s no hope whatsoever for fixing bad data on a memory card.

Here’s a question…. do you have a gameshark connected or enabled? If you do, you have to turn it off before you load your game or it’ll say the file is ruined…

OTHERWISE you’re screwed.

Well, to really sum it up…. the game checks for certain values before loading the game. If it deems it as strange, it just won’t load the game and it’ll just say "File is Ruined".

There is a bypass to it so that you don’t have to turn off your gameshark…. but I forgot the code for the life of me. 🙁
