help me !! please read

hi, how do I get to gold saucer from where i am because every time i try to enter the sandy area it says "not even a chocobo can make it across, we need a more powerful vehicle" or something like that!! and im ready for ruby weapon but i cant get there! so if anyone can help, please do so. toodles!

i am very surprised if you are ready for ruby and you dont know how to get across- you have to sue either the highwind (i think) or a gold chocobo.

To get to the Gold Saucer you go through north Coral and take that flying bus thing(does it have a name?) up to the gold saucer.

If ya wanna get to ruby your gonna need the Highwind.

Go back to that town…the ropeway entrance is at the very bottom left, it’s a little inconspicuous (sp?)

Ram Ruby with either Highwind or a gold chocobo. Those are your best bets. I think there’s a chance that a green or black chocobo might work too, but don’t quote me on that.

I don’t think he means to fight Ruby. Pacific/Ninja Yuffie got it right; go back to North Coral, (the town that hates Barret,) and exit the screen at the top left. Board the blue cable-car type thing to get to the entrance. You will need some Gil to get in (something with 3 at the start. 3000?) It’s better to get the Gold pass if you can afford it, though.

actually, i am trying to get to ruby. ive been leveling up and preparing for a while and im ready as ill ever be. im in the process of breeding chocobos and all that right now so i might get it soon but thanks for the advice from everyone!

Just curious, don’t you have Highwind?

He does if he’s ready to face Ruby WEAPON.

umm.. isnt that a little obvious??

if this guy is just now trying to get a gold choc then he definitely isnt ready to face ruby weapon. Ruby is the hardest fight in the game and with out knights and final attack phoenix he doesnt stand a chance. OH btw another good idea is to put the HP/MP switch materia on the person with the final attack materia just too make sure u have enough MP to cast phoenix.

in case you havent figured this out, you can get KOTR from defeating emerald, which i have. anyway, this thread is asking how to get to ruby, not asking if im ready or not (which i am). so you’re not being much help to me….grrrrrrrrrrr… >8^<

If you’ve defeated Emerald, then you have the submarine. So you must have the Highwind. Get into the Highwind, fly over the red dot where Ruby is hiding, and you should activate the battle.

I have no idea if this got answered earlier, but to be honest if you’re still asking the question, I guess not. 🙂
