Corrupt save file

I used to use gameshark to get my levels up. Then when I was maxed out, I stopped using it, and when I turned on my playstation without the gameshart, and loaded my file I got a brief message saying that the file was corrupt or something like that. Does anyone know what it meant? Thanks.

So no Gameshark attached? Then your save data is probably messed up. If there was a gameshark attached, all you would need to do is turn it off then turn it back on.

What happens if the file is messed up…I haven’t finished the game yet.

Technically, I wasn’t cheating, because before that I worked my way to getting my levels up, and spend forever getting the gold chocobo…and then my little brother decided to start a file and accidentally saved over mine, so I just wanted to get back to where I was.

no needs to use a gameshark for FF it need to be a law 🙂

but any way my friend used a gameshark on some other game
and he got the same thing you did
so all you have to do is try it once more with the gameshark on
or start over

thay need to ban the gameshark
becase gameshark is for ppl who have no skill in games

Actually, Gameshark is a pretty handy tool after you beat the game, it’s just that people abuse it. 😛

Anyways, can’t tell you what to do other than the fact that your game is pretty much messed up and corrupted. Start over.

you should probably get a codebreaker. they only cost like 10 bucks an it’s on a disk so you can also use it in the ps2. really handy for those gameshark glitches.
