Ok. Squall, is Laguna and Raine’s baby. Si. If Laguna’s last name is Loire, why is Squall’sLeonhart?

Same with Rinoa. Her last name is Heartily, but her dad’s last name is Caraway.

I’m so confused;_;

You know, there are amny many cases where two people mary, yet the woman keeps her name. Rinoa’s mother was a famous singer, and famous people are extremely likely to keep their name, in any case. Her child would automatically get her name, not her father’s.

In Squall’s case, I think it’s okay to say that his family situation wasn’t exactly easy. o_o Wasn’t he born while Laguna was off looking for Ellone? So maybe when Raine died, the people in the city took Squall, didn’t really know about Raine being married, named him Leonheart, and sent him to the orphanage?

I’d say it’s most likely that Rinoa took her mother’s last name because she was on such bad terms with her father.

A long time ago, Squaresoft acknowledged Laguna and Squall’s relationship as father and son on their website….. but it’s been long sense and it has been replaced with PlayOnline stuff. 😛

i think laguna is supposed to be 27(late 20’s anyway) in the dream sequences and in his late 40’s when u meet him in the present. he still looks awfully young for his age also considering what cid is younger and looks like a dinosaur.

So what? I know a woman that looks like… twenty. She’s in her thirties though. Some people age differently from others. Some people look younger, some older than they are.
