Who thinks chocobos are the stupiest things EVER!

I don�t hate them. They belong to FF like a lot of other things. 🙂

Ok, sometimes I don�t like the Chocobo games you have to play, but that�s not the question. 😉

the only reason i would hate them, would be thanks to Final Fantasy 7, cause they would never breed the way I needed them to, and they ate up alot of my time later on

You can’t hate chocobos when you realize you saved an hour’s walk through dangerous areas that could potentially kill you and end up leveling down… just by taking a chocobo.

How could anyone possibly hate a chocobo?

I hate the chocobo quest in FFXI, but other then that, I have no complaints. ^^

Yeah! Chocobos absolutely rule!
The are vital to every FF with them in, they take you places without having to suffer encounters, and they’re also cool cos they’re fast, the ones on FFIX are the best cos they don’t run away when you dismount

all that breeding in 7 is what really turned me away from the birds. I dont even like to catch them now. I say walk, takes longer but you get more exp. I think it is a real downfall for the ff games, how about a fast car instead, not a bird.

There’s a trick, you know: If you don’t like breeding chocobos, do not breed chocobos.
You’ll be amazed, it actually works!!

Hell yeah they’re great.

they’re just part of the stuff that gets carried on to the next FF they need to be in all FF games and they should have been in SW at least on the alien world

I love the idea of Chocobo Knights and seriously think Square should incorporate battles upon Chocobos like a cavalry charge. That would be such a sweet thing to be a part of. To watch chocobos battle. =D

It is called Final Fantasy. With the exception of VII and VIII (which *had* cars), the inclusion of cars would have compromised the entire storyline.

I would absolutely love that.

I’m almost positive you haven’t played Skies of Arcadia, but in that game, they had your normal rpg type battle system, and then they had a seperate battle system entirely for airship battles. I fell so in love with the airship battles that I’d spend an entire day searching the skies for ships to fight instead of continuing on with the sotryline. If they set up something along those lines, I’d probably faint, I’d be so thrilled. ^^
