I’m pretty sure everyone has gone through it (unless they’re lazy and just blazed through FFX without even trying to do anything fun outside of the story). Having to capture ALL OF THEM MONSTERS to get stuff…

This did lead to several other things *such as the AP Exploit*

How many monsters did you capture and did you feel that whatever you got from capturing them was worth it?

I captured 10 of every single monster. And no, it was NOT worth it.

Yeah, I captured ten of every single monster as well. I got some good items, and occasionally great items, here and there. But all-in-all, I would say that what you get from capturing all these monsters vs. the time spent into finding them, it is not worth it.

The same goes for myself. The only thing I found more aggrevating than that was the fact I couldn’t aquire all of his special monsters no matter what I tried to do.

yeah, i was kinda bitter, cause i finished the whole thing, and all i got in the end, was a monster that was pretty much invinsible, and could kick my ass no problem, which was just stupid, all that work, so many hours of my life gone….but some of the items were pretty sick 😀

Yeah i caught 10 of every monster as well. i aint vey fun. they needed better rewards…. Hey Mogknight where exactlly do you get the ideas for your threads form???

Fai enough. but getting back to the topic… wasn;t there something like the Monster Arena on that Last Mission thingy of FFX-2??

Yeah but unlike FFX’s Monster Arena, it’s actually LIKE pokemon, where you can capture and raise a monster to destroy other monsters. 😀

lol I guess I’m the only one who didn’t catch 10 of every single monster in the game. I didn’t think it was worth it, also I don’t have a lot of patience so I just caught some monsters for some items and that was enough for me.

It’s extremely tedious and boring. Especially trying to find the rare ones.

I caught every monster ten times…. four times.

I captured all the monsters and I thought the rewards were decent enough. You get new bosses, lots of new items and weapons and stuff, plus good monsters to level against. Works for me.
