Stupid Cactaurs

Who here finds Cactuars among one of the most annyingest monsters around. Stupid things with their 1000 needles and shit.

Goddamn them. My characters must spend ages picking needles out of themselves after a battle with them….

As much as they are annoying, i think they’re cool. But jumbo cactuar was a little idiot.

Jumbo Cactuar from which game?

Final Fantasy 8 where he has 600,000 HP

Yes I agree, especially the ones from FFX-2 ^__^

I liked taking them back to their mothers. 🙂

There is a jumbo in X-2 as well that is um…alittle "slow".

I thought having to return them to thier mothers was fun to! That little noise the make is cute, kinda like a giggle.

Cactuars are like any other enemy you face. They simply need to be defeated.

I personally find Tonberries more annoying with their "insta-death" attack. 🙁 Ouch.

True tonberries are amoung some of the more b****** monsters out there.. but i still hate Cactuars more.

In FF9 when you go where the cactars are first time it’s geat because they usually kill every one in the group accept one person so they get loads of exp 🙂

Ive decided that cactuars are one of the best monsters in FF. If i had decided that before, cactuar would be my username.
I preferred it on FF8 though, when cactuars had their own island so you knew where to go if you needed AP, whereas on FF7 the island isn’t even shown on the map, and on FF9 you hardly ever get into battles with them.
And… on FF10-2 you have to shoot them!
Thats not nice.

Coming across Cactuars in the Altepa desert whilst playing FFXI was pretty exciting. Laugh if you want to.

I seriously doubt I could take one out right now, but I can’t wait to try fighting a cactuar. ^^

If your having trouble killing those catuars used eden or Bahamut Zero kills em in one attack or you can always use Knights of the Round table or in final fantasy 9 use Ark they kick any cactuars butt!!!

I wouldn’t say that cactuars were particularly hard, just a bit irritating because most of your attacks will miss, however, they only have a minimal amount of HP.

cactuars are cool as nuts they do 1000 damage all the time and they only have 1 hp (on 6 anyway)
