when he finally reached Cosmo Canyon, he saw another…specimen like him lol. turns out he didn’t find a specimen like him but she found him.

lol, yeah, i thought that was kinda funny, it would have been cool thru out the game if they hinted at another …animal like him was around, but the funny thing was, wouldn’t it be weird, cause he finally finds a wife…but they can’t have a convo, cause she wouodn’t be able to talk right? so would he be able to understand her, or would it be more of a meaniful one night relationship??? 😀

O I forgot about that part. I guess he did find his wife. but if the part in the ending is a hundred or so Years later, do you think Red could live that long?

well, it makes sense, since he was only like what, 15- 18 in human years, but he was actully already alot older then that, so the idea of him still being alive 100 years later is possible

Well we don’t know how old the cubs are, for all we know they could only be, 70 years old or something, I mean, he’s had 500 years to have them so we can’t be sure when they were born…

This doesn’t make any sense to me…

Red is a four legged creature, whose parents were also four legged creatures, well atleast his father was, as you can see for your selves in Disk One in the caves at Cosmo Canyon. Now, Bugenhagen is his grandfather, but he is not a four legged creature. Although he has the life span, similar to that of Reds species. But in Disc two Cait Sith, on the high wind when you have to take Bugenhagen to the forgotten city, refers to Bugenhagen as a man. So how does Red have a grandfather that isn’t the same species but has a similar life span?

maybe bugenagen took him in like the Areis mom thing get it?

Possibly, heres a thought..

Bugenhagen did work for shinra, maybe the had something to do with his life span? Or maybe he’s an ancient, but don’t ancients have regular human life spans? Or another idea, he was the same species as Red but Hojo or Gast altered his appearance?

the life span thing might be right when you mentioned the Shinra bit but i dont know about him bein’ an ancient remember he couldn’t do somethin’ ( i forget ) when he was at the city of ancients. he said only an ancient could do it fill me up on what he couldnt do okay people….
