im a bof fan and when i saw ff x i love it but when i start playing it i just realyze that it have a lot of things from bof 4 and every single person on the internet think that im crazy but dudes yuna’s eyes it’s just like ryu’s eyes in bof 4 that "original battle system" is a copy from the real deal bof 4 the swithcable thing is from there and it have a lot more stuff from the bof series does anyone notice that?

Final Fantasy X being the same as Breath of Fire IV… Well, you’re right in that it’s possible to switch party members during battle in both games. I remember that being very helpful in BoF4, indeed.
Ryu’s eyes were weird because he was a dragon. Yuna’s eyes were weird because she was… Uhmmm… *Can’t remember.*
There are some fundamental differences though. The main antagonist in Breath of Fire IV, Fou-Lu, is a hell of a lot more likeable than Seymour or Sin are. I felt sorry for Fou-Lu. I only wanted Seymour to bleed.
Breath of Fire IV also has slightly less linearity than Final Fantasy X, and the characters aren’t as well developed. It doesn’t take away from the game though: It’s still awesome. But there are enough differences in the two games. 🙂
