Whenever I play driving games, I’ve only ever used the control pad provided with the console. I know people who spend money on the steering wheel and the peddles to add to the realism, and I was wondering if anyone here makes use of them and if it makes playing the game easier, more challenging, or just a personal thing whilst playing?

I’ve never tried a steering wheel with any games. I guess I shouldn’t knock it, as I haven’t tried it, but the idea of using a steering wheel is really unappealing to me. If the controls on a driving game are good, then the controller just feels so perfect in my hand while I’m playing, and I wouldn’t want to give that up.

I’ve used it once, and id have to say the controller was dfinetly better.
Ive also heard you can use the foot pedal from them for games like Time Crisis. Is this true?

I’ve used them beofre, its definitley harder, and seems some what pointless. Also if you’re playing say…GT3, the game is alot smoother with the analog sticks.
