Just a couple Q’s off the top of my head –
1. How do you customize weapons?
2. Saw something about armor having slots. How does that work?
3. Im totally out of ability spheres, I’ve been killing the things near the rest house before Crawler/Negator and havent found any. Lulu is waiting to learn Thundra for Crawler and Yuna is waiting to use Pray (Don’t know what it does tho)
4. Does anyone know of a website with detailed sphere descriptions, A sphere map. And Item/Monster listings?
I hope I have not asked too much.

<B> How do you customize weapons? </B>
First, you can only customize by using items to add abilities to armor that has open ability slots. You acquire some items by stealing or bribing fiends and bosses. And, other items can only be gained by completing certain side-quests.
Adding abilities to weapons and armor can sometimes change the purpose of that equipment, and maybe the name along with it. The new name of the weapon/armor will reflect the new abilities you have customized it with.
Armor and weapons with open slots will be more valuable, since they can be modified in a variety of ways. So, the more slots the equipment possesses, the higher the resale value will be.
There are a total of 49 different abilities in which you can customize weapons with.
There are a total of 73 different abilities in which you can customize armor with.
Let’s say that you wanted to customize one of your weapons with the <B> sensor </B> ability. All you would need is Ability Sphere (x2), and you would be able to add it to the weapons abilities. Now, you can view enemy data during battle!

It is actually pretty simple once you know how it works. All armor comes with 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 ability slots. Ability slots represent the number of different abilities you can customize your armor with. So, obviously, you want to find armor that has four open slots, so you can customize it with four different abilities of your choosing!

There are two monsters in the Macalania area that will drop Ability Spheres once you defeat them. One is the Chimera, and the other is the Xiphos.
Or, you can buy some Ability Distillers. During battle, use one on each enemy, and then defeat them. If you used an Ability Distiller for three enemies, you will get at least three Ability Spheres.
The Special Ability, Pray, restores some of the party’s HP.

Okay, Im new to the forums and FFX. Im up to the Crawler/Negator after 36 hrs 😮 I feel im really missing something to the game, Was searching through these posts and some just confuse me.
