Who do you guyz think is the hardest boss in the game.

I personally think that Meltegimi or whatever his name is is hard. BUT ITS ONLY BECAUSE HIS STUPID VIRIS ATTACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i personally think Ozma is the hardest.

even if you do everything to help yourself to prepare, he’s still a slimy slut.

Meltegemini? That’s the one that get’s created when Zorn and Thorn join together isn’t it? I personally didn’t have any troubles there, being as his only attack that’s any good was Viral Smoke which doesn’t affect you a second time.

I found Kraken hard, because it’s Leg attack had a habit of killing all my players. :-/

I hated Ozma simply because of how random that battle was. Sometimes it’s really easy to beat, and sometimes it’s impossible to survive. You’d know what I mean if you got hit with Curse three turns in a row and then Meteor. :p

I think of the normal bosses, Gizamaluke actually gave me the most trouble. :-/ I lost to it 2-3 times, but that’s more because I didn’t use any sort of strategy the first couple of times. Once I worked that out it was easy though, so the hardest was probably Plant Brain. First time I played I was still level 1 the first couple of times I fought it, and I couldn’t even survive one Thunder attack, so I knew something had to be wrong there. :p

i fought Gizzy with basically no inventory at extremely low levels, and got my ass handed to me like five times. not too fun 🙁

I could never find ozma, so my hardest boss would be necron.

i found necron very easy, but ozma was a stunning boss

Actually…I found most of the bosses easy ^_^ but I hated Tiamat! He always Snorted, but hey, I had auto-float on, and when I turned it off, hell, he was EASY!!! 😀 hehe

ozma is probably the hardest boss because of curse and meteor, but wat about necron

i mean it’s not that he’s hard but he came out of nowhere…. he’s like "hey, im necron. now fight me puny ones!"

Necron was easy and i also do not undersatnd where he came from I thought that the death guise was harder than trance kuja and necron combined

There are whole topics based on the purpose of Necron and what it is… Lemme dig out a quote…

I think the idea behind Necron was that Kuja’s actions gave it the power to act. Kuja was hellbent on destroying the crystal, hence destroying creation and the Universe itself. Your party tries to stop him, but he succeeds, and releases Necron, an entity that believes that Kuja’s actions speak for all life, and that life as a whole must return to the zero world, ie nothing. In a way, Necron is Kuja’s goal bought to life, and Zidane and company have to fight it and suppress it in order to stop it from ending creation.

Necron was quite tricky though, with his status inducing attacks. ~__~

I think Ozma was the hardest. Sometimes it would be weird when you went to fight him and he’d be pretty easy; but then he’d just kicked your arse. It sucked.

What was the name of the guy you fight last after Trance Kuja? It’s the one who’s all white and has this ring around his waist?

That is Necron. 🙂 The final boss in the game, yes? That be Necron.

i would have to disagree with everyone and say that the hardest bosses are at the end of disk 3 when you must fight silver dragon, garland and kuja all in a row although easy by themselves without time to heal they can be difficult

There were times I had trouble with them, but I think there was this one time I beat them easily.

Ozma’s the hardest, I prepared myself and everything but it usually never works, also I think Kraken is hard, i’ve never fought Necron because of that Kraken

It’s a close thing between Ozma (depending how hard Ozma is at the time eg 3 curses in a row) and Tantarian (just because of the at the time he’s just too good for the troop).
