In terms of storyline, most of the games were finished off perfectly. The only one that left things open ended was Final Fantasy VII, and we’ve got Advent Children for that to finish things off.
Final Fantasy X-2 put a nice, big full stop next to the X franchise, in my opinion. There’s no space for any more story to be written.
